Many of the things that I noticed throughout the book the entire time that I was reading It was the different styles of photos, seemingly mashed-up to create a coherent theme that humans are ever evolving due to the advancement of technology.
I found the part in the book about how if I was an application, what would differentiate me from the other seven billion applications of the world a really interesting analogy of how we see each other and the relation back to applications and technology.
Something that was really difficult for me to understand were many of the words that were on the definition pages of the book and how they fit into the context of what was going on (ex. smupid versus stuart: these two words were very hard for me to differentiate the definitions of), as many of them were words that were mashed together and their definitions were very interconnected to another similar word already mentioned.
I agreed with many of the points in The Age of Earthquakes that were referring to the average human attention span and how we use the internet to keep us occupied and without it, we have this sense of loneliness. Certain points that I didn’t agree with were when the book was talking about how humans were made to die, as I believe that humans are here to create and innovate new inventions and ideas in this world.
I did have quite a few existential crises while reading this novel because I realized my impact on the world by its mentioning of a person’s internet usage and how much we’re connected to our phones and technology had both divided us and brought us together.

I really like how this models the definitions that are very prevalent in the book, and is relevant to things that many people deal with today, like ghosting.
